I didn't start in real estate. I started in a classroom, and after years of studying education, I found that being a teacher wasn't a path I could thrive in. What came next changed everything: a leasing job at a small property management company in Kalamazoo, where the owners ran their team on genuine trust. They gave real latitude, real ownership, and real respect, and I watched that approach quietly outperform every top-down model I'd ever seen. It shaped how I think about leadership to this day, and I bet on myself moving forward.

Now I'm a REALTOR® and team leader with CENTURY 21 Affiliated, managing our Portage office and selling as a Kalamazoo-based agent. In my own practice I focus on first-time and lower-income buyers, but as a leader my range is wider--I've got the tools, experience, and team to help agents grow in every corner of their business.

My approach comes down to one conviction: when agents stop working in isolation, everyone gets better. That means agents who don't disappear after onboarding, training that's hands-on and ongoing, and questions that get answered whether it's your first deal or your hundredth.
