With deep roots in Western North Carolina and over three decades of professional experience, Alan Cuthbertson brings a unique blend of local insight and financial expertise to every real estate transaction. A 29-year resident of Madison County and lifelong member of the WNC community, Alan is passionate about the region’s natural beauty, strong sense of community, and boundless potential.


A graduate of Appalachian State University, Alan has served the area for more than 34 years as a Certified Public Accountant. His background in finance gives him a distinct advantage in real estate—helping clients not only buy or sell property, but also make informed financial decisions for personal, investment, or business goals.

Alan and his wife, Rhonda, live in Mars Hill, where they raised their two sons, Garrett and Cole. Outside of work, Alan enjoys traveling, camping, spending time with his dog, Hope, and tending his family’s Christmas tree farm in Avery County.
