Hi, I am Alan Balko?but just call me AL. I am a real estate agent, a proud Marine Corps veteran, and someone who believes home buying and/or selling should be just as exciting as the result. I am known for being lighthearted, fun, and a little goofy, but when it comes to helping you reach your goals, I am all in.

My time in the Marine Corps taught me discipline, resilience, and how to stay focused under pressure and today, your vision is my mission.

I was born and raised in Michigan and later moved to Tennessee, where I started my family. I spent many years working in construction, gaining hands-on experience and a strong understanding of how homes are built and what matters most. I've also worked as a corrections officer, sharpening my ability to stay calm and communicate clearly in high pressure situations. In 2016, my family and I moved back to Michigan.

Before real estate, my wife and I owned a local coffee shop where we built a place for people to gather, connect, and feel at home. I have also coached football and baseball, focusing on mentoring and supporting local youth. I stay involved in community events and organizations because strong connections matter.

Today, I bring that same energy and community mindset into every real estate journey, making the process smooth, strategic, and even fun.
